The Afro-Caribbean goddess, a HYBRID creature, feared and admired, a blend of cultures that stands the test of TIME.
Sophie Fardella
French artist of Caribbean descent. Her work is characterized by its hybrid technique, combining cultural symbols and familiar objects with elements that are both ephemeral and eternal, organic and graphic. Her works pay homage to the surrealist universe, creating a poetic space without limits or boundaries, inviting everyone to create their own story.
Bio
Born in Paris, France. She studied Visual Arts and New Media in Paris and Athens. She holds a Master's degree in Contemporary Art and New Media in Paris.
She has held solo exhibitions and participated in collective exhibitions in Greece and abroad. She lives and works in Greece. She is co-founder of the gallery 3Portes and Atelier Fardella.

With the organization of individual and group exhibitions, 3Portes Gallery aims to defend and support the dynamic contemporary creation for the development of artistic life in the region of Epirus. Since our opening in December 2022, we have chosen to exhibit established and emerging artists in the center of Ioannina, in the context of a cultural initiative aimed at decentralizing the world of contemporary art. This project is motivated by an ambitious initiative to promote the national level of the art world.
A social challenge, as it contributes to the access to the art world. Access to contemporary culture. We’re dedicated to representing our artists and their work in the best possible way. We work closely with museums and curators to feature pieces by artists we represent into public and private collections in the art world. Their success is our success.
